About me

More Than
a Camera.

I’m Jeremy Ferguson, a cinematographer with a love for every part of making a film. I picked up a camera at thirteen, making videos with friends about video games. That spark grew into a passion for telling stories through a lens.

From cameras and gimbals to drones, lighting, and editing, I enjoy bringing all the pieces together. More than anything, I love creating things that make people happy. Whether it’s a film, a photo, or a website, the goal is always the same: make something meaningful.

Creative partners since 2018

A creative partner. A best friend.

Matthew Hewlett and I have been creating together since about 2018. What started with film and photography quickly grew into one of the most important friendships in my life. He became my best friend, and he taught me much of what I know about cameras and visual storytelling.

We’ve spent years photographing weddings and events together and working side by side on cinematography projects. From capturing once-in-a-lifetime moments to building a scene shot by shot, Matthew has been the person I can count on behind the camera and beside it.

Matthew introduced me to filmmaker Rob Weaver, and Mastifinol became our first project together. On that set, I met Blake Laitner. A year later, Blake brought me on to shoot and help edit We Need Rent Money — a film Matthew and I edited together from beginning to end.

Keys to
Another World.

Piano has always been a part of my creative journey. It’s where I can slow down, explore new ideas, and let emotion speak. Music fuels my creativity and inspires everything I do.

My roles

  • Co-producer
  • Editor

Created by Blake Laitner, Totally MindBlowing Show is an independent sketch comedy series that isn’t afraid to push boundaries.

Think the sketch comedy of MADtv and Saturday Night Live mixed with the wild energy of Jackass.

The series is in development, and Episode 1 is being filmed.

Let’s create together

Something unforgettable
starts with a conversation.

Film, photography, a new website, or an idea you can’t stop thinking about — I’d love to hear about it.

Piano

Music is a place to slow down, follow an idea, and see where it leads. That same curiosity finds its way into my films, photography, and everything I create.
